I recently got a pismo, I promptly updated the ram and swapped the hard drive. Everything was going great until in the last week the display started exhibiting strange artifacts. In the shaded areas of the screen underneath the shadows and around the colored close minimize expand buttons there would be blue or pink lines. Also a large streak of blue appeared along the right side of the screen. These artifacts are not changed by the screen angle. You can see examples of the artifact here. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions and/or help. I need this pismo's display to be good for my photography swell as the fact that This is my only portable other than a clamshell , which is hardly usable by todays standards.
