Assuming this thread will continue despite the goofy subject abuse... Hey, I've experimented a lot with Linux on my Pismos and my experience is the opposite in terms of performance at least.
Tiger works better with power. Linux (including MintPPC) just can't seem to do well with the hardware: in terms of input and display.
