I have a Wallstreet II Powerbook. If I use OS 9.2.2 the Ethernet works just fine and I can connect to the Internet. However, I want to use the PB to read/write 800K ProDOS disks. In 9.2.2 I'm finding it doesn't like 800K disks. However, I installed 8.6 and it read/writes them just fine. But, the problem I have in 8.6 is I can't connect to the Internet. In TCP/IP settings its set to Ethernet and DHCP just like I have in 9.2.2, but it never gets an IP address.
Any ideas? Is this a driver/extension issue?
