I don't know about the Visor cradle, but my Palm cradle actually goes to
serial (for pc's) first. I then connect it to either my older non-USB Macs
with a PC-serial to Mac serial short adapter cord (this would be a
modem/printer port on the older powerbooks), or I use a PC-serial to USB
short adapter cord to plug in to my iMac USB. Either of these little cables
is available as a Palm part. They are inexpensive. If your cradle can do
PC-serial, then this is a route for you. If it can only do USB then this
won't work.
