I'm a little late on responding to this as I've been out of town. But in case you're still having the problem here's my 2�. I have the Que 4/8/32 (I think) and have also had problems with the computer seeing the drive. I use it with a Beige G3 desktop with an Orange Micro firewire pci card and with a pismo. Both computers will sometimes not recognize the drive. It doesn't work more than half the time with the beige, and I would say 25% of the time with the pismo. I haven't been able to figure it out, but I suspect the problem is with Que. Kate
