Dear Listessas, Listas - How hard would it be to replace the DVD drive in a PB G4 500 with the ones now standard (?) in the 'new' Ti 550 and 667 ? I have replaced HD, RAM etc. in different PB's and I heard that there are really only two (?) manufacturers for the 'new' Combo drives. How much would a drive cost? Has anybody tried this? What would the old drive sell for on, say, Ebay?
