It won't run on a non-G4 processor. Furthermore it won't run unless you have an internal DVD-burner in your tower. I have an old G4 450Mhz Sawtooth I bought in December 1999 that I installed a Pioneer Super-drive (DVR-AO3) in last August and iDVD2 and DVD Studio Pro run great on it. DVD Studio Pro also requires a G4 processor, but you can use external FireWire DVD burners with it. You can't even install either of these applications if you don't have a G4. There is no Apple DVD-burning option for G3 processors. There is really no option for laptops, unless of course DVD Studio Pro is used with a Powerbook G4 and a FireWire DVD-burner.
