Someone a while ago gave me a service manual for a firewire G3 PB. I checked the URL and it gave a link to apple's FTP site. Last I checked, then, file read was permitted but file scan was not--in other words, if you knew the name of a file you could read it, but you were not permitted to get a file listing. That for what it's worth, I don't know if it's the same thing you guys are talking about. That said, how does one obtain an apple service manual--by becoming an apple service provider?
