Hi there,

Just last night I struggled (for hours) to get a non-Mac laptop
logged onto my Airport network at home, and my experience might come
in handy for you. Windows XP (and maybe other versions?) needs the
"WEP Key" which is not the same as the network password, in order to
log into your network. I am using OS-X and Airport 2.2. Open your
Airport Admin utility, log in to your airport network, and then click
on the lock icon. It will give you the (very long) WEP key sequence
that you need to type into the Windows machine in the appropriate box.

You will find much more advice on this and other topics here:
http://www.macwindows.com/airportpc.html

Don't get sidetracked with the issue of using a windows version of
the Airport Admin Utility, which is discussed at length there--you
don't need that because you can administrate your network with your
Mac.

Good luck!
