IIRC, the Battery Reset does reset the little circuit that is in a battery and that controls whether the battery will accept a charge or not. I've seen with my previous Wallstreet that if a battery becomes completely discharged, it won't charge anymore. Battery Reset "tells" the battery that it's not too deeply discharged so that it can take a charge when you plug the PowerBook on the adapter. -Laurent. -- ===================================================================== Laurent Daudelin <http://home.cox.rr.com/nemesys> Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] bytesexual /bi:t`sek'shu-*l/ adj.: [rare] Said of hardware, denotes willingness to compute or pass data in either big-endian or little-endian format (depending, presumably, on a mode bit somewhere).
