Hi, I'm using an IBM Travelstar in my pismo. The model number on the drive
is DJSA-230...and it's kind'a noisy (relative to what I'm used to of
course). I notive the difference considerably when the drive spins down
when I'm watching a dvd. Even if it's connected to a moniter and I'm across
the room.

Does anyone know if this is one of the "new ones" with the "liquid bearings"
that's "so quiet"? I think it's the 30GN I've heard that about. I don't
know because I just bought this machine used and the drive came in it.

Anything?

Thanks,

Justin
