No, it worked in the beginning of time. I did finally get it to run by selecting Mac OS 9.2.2 Base in extension manager (after adding 9.2.2). I suppose I could start narrowing down the offending extension, but life is short. Dealing with extension conflicts just reenforces how much better X is!
