My $5 PowerBook just took a few hundred worth of damage.
My landlord's has botched more than a few maintenance
jobs, one of which was the obvious disrepair of the windows
and frames. It's an old house, and the wood just hasn't
stood the test of time. Earlier tonight, one of the
windows fell out, and the frame landed on my PB. I
would've been hit, too, if I hadn't caught it. The LCD
is now permanently damaged. It has a bubble on one side, and
several static blue dots which I presume to be dead pixels
or other such damage. The hd took a jolt, too, and does
not sound too good...

I will do whatever I can to make them pay. Here's hoping I
get a G4 out of all this.
