Better still, buy my fellow Australian's shareware EjectDisk which can 
eject CD/CDRWs/Jazes/Zips/floppies/Orbs from any application using any 
desig. key combo. Costs a mere $20. Can open tray on all Macs and can 
close it some of them & some CDRWs. It's damn useful to eject a disk 
without going to the Finder, esp. when you have a heap of open windows.

Of course, in OS X, just press F12.
