I know about the swap list by low end mac, but I thought I would put this out to the G-books list since this pertains to the people here. I don't plan to make this a habit, but I just wanted to make it available to you guys first before putting it on eBay. I have a Powerbook G3 Lombard for sale with the following specifications:
-400mhz G3 processor -128 MB RAM (expandable to 512 MB) -6 GB Hard Drive -Mac OS 9.2.2 installed -Level 2 cache: 1 MB -Video: ATI Rage LT Pro -VRAM: 8 MB -Displays: 14.1" 24-bit 1024x768 color active matrix, also has S-video output via VGA connector -CD-ROM: 24x (2x DVD-ROM) -Expansions bays: one (can use 2 batteries at same time) -USB ports: two -PowerBook SCSI connector on back of computer -10/100Base-T ethernet and v.90 56k modem standard -4 Mbps IrDA -One PC Card slot -Weight: 5.7-6.1 pounds (2.6-2.8 kg) with battery -Yo-Yo style power adapter More Information: This laptop works great. All doors and feet are still present and not broken. The laptop has some scuffs, but no cracks. This transaction is only for the laptop and power adapter as the CDs and manuals are no longer available. The original box will accompany the laptop, but it is definitely used. I have not had any problems with this laptop; it has been a champ. This is probably the best laptop Apple ever created with a SCSI port. The Powerbook G3 series I think is much better than even the more recent Powerbooks because of the expansion bay options. I am selling this for $825 plus $30 shipping / handling / insurance / dellivery confirmation. For $900, I will include a brand new firewire card (2 dongles and leather case included), VST superdisk drive (to read regular floppies and 120 mb media disks). For $1025, I will include an external SCSI CDRW 4x4x16 with cables, SCSI adapter, and Toast 4 CD. For your convenience, I do accept escrow through www.escrow.com.
