If it matters, UW Oshkosh encourages Macs. We reguarly
buy Apple computers for the labs, though still
outnumbered by x86 (Win & Lin). Our Academic Computing
offers discounts for students who would like to
purchase a computer from Apple. And our ResNet
(internal network) still encourages Mac as being the
easiest to hook up and use. Just my $.02.

P.S.- Just won an auction for a Lombard (333). My
first Mac!!!
