A couple of things that make we want to unsubscribe from
this otherwise sometimes useful (signal) mailing list:

1) seemingly endless subject thread but actual topic has
   changed several times (--> noise)
2) repeated ranting and raving (noise)
3) re-hashes of a topic primarily because poster hasn't
bother to follow entire thread and thinks their new
post (noise) is somehow original when it isn't.

Maybe its my own issue to deal with but after about 2 or
posts with a given subject line, I just end up deleting
any subsequent posts (typically noise).

Here's a very simple guideline:

if you don't have anything useful to add to the discussion, don't.

Otherwise, start a new topic/subject with your issue.

The goal here is to have more good stuff (signal) and less
bickering (noise).

Annoyed,
Jeff Sz.

Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so?
There's a support group for that. It's called
EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.
