This wouldn't be that big of an issue for me (if I used programs expecting that second button), as there are lots of mice available with single or two buttons. I almost bought a small (single-button) mouse at Staples recently just for having a mouse, and I don't think it cost that much. There are several USB mice which work great out of the box on my Pismo, whether mechanical or optical tracking. Personally, I don't use PCs that much (for two programs at work only), and find it more bother to recall the uses for that second button. For me, it's "simpler is better" (less to keep track of - like simpler interfaces and program design, as well). I agree with you on the features Apple should exploit (wakeup, sleep, etc.) in their commercials. Hadn't realized Wintel laptops took that long to wake up (more like resurrect, perhaps)... ;-) My .02, Jim Rohde "I have a flawless philosophic/scientific model of reality.
