Jason, I've had good, reliable luck with a Xircom USB to SCSI Converter, model PGSCSI. This device lets you use SCSI peripherals on a USB bus. Not sure who sells them new, but a search on eBay will find the device for you. Pay $25 or less. It's being used to connect a scanner, and have used it to connect a SCSI drive.
I have also used the Orange Micro "Orange Converter" which allows you to connect SCSI peripherals to a Firewire port. I used it for external hard drives and also for an old SCSI CD-RW. It worked fine for the CD-RW. You can buy this device from the usual mail-order sources, and expect to pay around $100. Good luck! --Jim. >From: "Jason Long" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Date: Mon, 12 Aug 2002 18:26:10 -0500 >Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >I need to connect a couple of legacy SCSI devices to my newly purchased >Pismo, especially my dearly beloved Plextor CD-RW.
