I have the same problem on my Pismo. I think I even posted about that problem some time ago. I think, in my case, that there is somehow an OS X bug. When I plug the Ethernet wire at home, after a little while, the trackpad becomes crazy. Like I try to move the cursor, and the trackpad detects repetitive clicks. At that point, the only thing I can do is to press the power button to bring the dialog offering to restart, shutdown, sleep or cancel. Then, pressing "Tab" until the restart button is selected and then return. Yesterday, when it was starting to drive me crazy, I did switch to AirPort and the problem went away. I switched back to Ethernet and everything was still fine. When I'm at the office, I use also Ethernet and never had any problem. I must mention that at home, I have fast Ethernet (100Mbit) while at the office, I have regular Ethernet. It must also be pointed out that AirPort is 11 Mbit (I think). So, is the speed of the network the cause, or is there something else? I don't know. Oh, I use the trackpad for everything, from moving the cursor to drag to drag lock and click. All of this in OS X 10.1.5... -Laurent. -- ============================================================================ Laurent Daudelin <http://members.cox.net/nemesys> Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] fudge: 1. vt.
