In Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X 10.2, when you have a USB printer that is connected
to a single computer, you can share that printer on your network using
built-in system software. Then, the other computers on the Ethernet network
will see that printer and I believe that the one to which is connected the
printer will act a bit like a printer server.
