Only 1.5 to 1 gig depending on if you eliminate all
the asian and foreign lang stuff that in all saves
about half a gig as does cutting down the printer
drivers. USE custom install and do not install the
stuff you will never used it saves alot of space. I
saved about half to three quarters of a gig by not
intallin the asian fonts, Asian languages, Euro lang,
Russian and all the other. SInce i only use Epson
printer i only installed the epson drivers adn did not
install the HP Cannon or Lexmark drivers. SHould not
be an issue on my 2000 Ed Firewire LP with orginal 10
gig divided in half one for currently 10.1.5 and OS
9.2.2 each part has about 3 gig aside the 9.2.2 since
i installed some extra apps on that partition. Worse
comes to worse i reformat and make the 9.2.2 partion
only 2.5 gig instead of the 5 give or take a little.
Plan on upgrading to Powerbook G4 rather than upgrade
HD. I do not store anything major on it anyhow if need
be i remove some apps i do not use that much. No big
deal
thanks
James
