>I agree about your concerns about the TiBook. That's why I bought a >Pismo myself.
That's why I _still_ have my Pismo. >We're all waiting for that anodized TiBook, no? The next one is rumored >to be black with silver as a built to order option. That's fine. But I don't give a rat's ass about the outside. I care about what's on the inside. And I'd love to see the return of an expansion bay and battery bay. Kick ass graphics sub-system: great. 1 GHz processor: okay but 2 would be better (or a G5). 60GB Hard drive: great. SuperDrive: awesome. Higher resolution screen: great. But the real kicker for me is a flexible/con- figurable device. With my Pismo, I love the fact that when I need juice, I plug in an extra battery. When I need disk capacity, I plug in a hard drive. When I need a floppy, well, I plug it in (okay, not often, but at $35/drive its hard to beat). I know Apple isn't listeniing. Thin is cool but there is a point that's too far and I think the current TiBook has past that point, sacrificing the pluggable modules. An extra batter option via expansion bay would be huge. Okay, okay, enough ranting for now. ;-) Jeff Sz. -- ************************************************** Jeff Szuhay A randomly-directed www.szuhay.org chaotical wetware pattern [EMAIL PROTECTED] recognizer/generator.
