Hello all, Maybe slightly off-topic, but there seems to be a considerable knowledge base out there, so... I have a PIsmo 500/12/640, with an Airport installed. Was at the student bookstore buying office v.x, picked up a Netgear Cable/DSL Wireless ROuter MR314 for $50. My home net connection is via an RCA cable modem and Adelphia Powerlink. I've wanted an airport base station, or even a really cheap desktop to serve as a software base station, but for $50, I figured I'd take a chance. Anyway. I have the Router set up, I can access is wired or wireless from my Pismo, but I just can't seem to get the router to pull an IP address from the DHCP router at Adelphia. I get good lights, but can't make any net connections. Have switched cables, etc, and shut all parts down and restarted in sequence. My TCP/IP settings are pretty straightforward when I'm direct connected, that is, just the DHCP from server option, everything else is automatic. Does anyone have any thoughts on where I might be missing a step? Feel free to respond off-list if this is too off-topic. Many thanks, Joel
