Before putting too much thought into it, check stock. Try to add it to your basket and see if it will ship. I thought the 18 gig for $54 was the best deal, but they don't have any stock of the refurb expansion drives, nor of the small fire-wire to go drives, all the small capacity drives are gone. I would suuspect those were snapped up because they were cheaper than bare cases. Best, Joel
