The only problem I ever had in years with Eudora was with 5.0, which didn't
lose data, but would get flaky about keeping windows where you wanted them.

The application has never lost data for me, not in eight years of on-again,
off-again use. Even if another application seizes up the whole Mac, I've
never lost data.

When I use Entourage, I feel obligated to back up the User Data folder three
times a week. Nothing bad has happened yet, but because of the way the
application stores the database and its integration with other Microsoft
applications, it's only a matter of time.
