Well, I have a problem with a Wallstreet G3 PowerBook that I've just got to
solve soon.

I bought it off eBay, but FedEx so manhandled the package that it shook
loose the hard drive connection. So, helped over the phone by the guy who
sold it to me, I removed the keyboard and took out the hard drive, and then
reseated it. Worked perfectly. Yahoo!

Alas, the story of my woes doesn't stop there.

I couldn't get the keyboard back on. When I detached the keyboard, I had
reached underneath the keyboard, in the empty sockets (battery & CD-Rom),
and pulled back on the tabs to release the keyboard.

Now the tabs won't retract the little metal
clasps far enough to allow the keyboard to
  reseat correctly in place.

Has anyone here had this happen to them? Any hints?

This is an urgent problem, so any help will be appreciated.
