Painful. Fire up OS 9 if you're going to use photoshop. That said Photoshop 7 performs pretty well on OSX on my system (a 7600 with a G4 upgrade, running OSX 10.2). I'd also bite the bullet and get 10.2, it is a *big* performance increase over 10.1.5.
