Sorry, but I was asking about the non-system ones, primarliy (DL'd), NOT the MacOS Install CD ones. Now, eliminating (for the sake of my original question) and only focusing on the other CSMs, my question still remains "Can/do CSM's get corrupted?" (Non-Apple ones, in other words). Now the backup will take an awful lot of Zip disks (expense I don't need right now), as I have not yet the funds to get that CD-RW drive (Firewire, as I cannot readily hook up the too slow SCSI drive to my PowerBook 2000/Firewire). So in the meantime, my more immediate concern is how likely it is that my (non-Apple) CSM's could be corrupted, or is this something which happends so infrequently that I should instead be concentrating on saving my nickels and dimes for that CD-RW(?). BTW, my System folder is about 588 MB - probably a tad large for even a CD-R...
