Greetings Listas,
I would like to thank everyone that took the time to send me info on how to
try to resurrect a deleted user profile in N/S 4.79. Unfortunately, I was
unable to restore anything due to the fact that my 20 year old son ran
Norton
Utilities following the deletion. He ran Disk Doctor then Speed Disk to
defrag the hd and it appears that everything is well and truly trashed.
Rest
assured that we are having a VERY detailed discussion about his actions...It

turns out that he disagrees vehemently with me politically and didn't care
for
the political discussion groups that I follow..He thinks that the Fox News
Network is the Fountain of Truth and I don't. I will try to create a new
profile and see if there is a way to password protect it so he can't access
it
at all. Anyone know how to do that?
At any rate, it really feels good to belong to such a caring and helpful
community.
Again, thanks so much to everyone..
Best regards,
Mike Kochkodin
