I know I have seen some software that does this. It used to be bundled with
those rotating CRTs. Try searching www.versiontracker.com

It might only run in one os (9 or X). Sorry I don't know the name. Another
idea is to mount an external monitor in your van and then you can plug it
into the video out on your PB.
