You need to go look at the Wireless driver FAQ and join that mailing list for the best answers. However, a quick check of their FAQ, says specifically that the Orinoco Gold doesn't support WEP(or at least hasn't been confirmed working) http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/faq.html#supported You'll also find the archive for the mailing list there.
