I found a good deal on a 256mb PC133 sodimm a couple of weeks ago at circuit city. I didn't expect it to work in my 250mhz Wallstreet, but since it was local and I could return it if it didn't I thought I would give it a try. This is my first mac, just recently purchased. I am currently running os X.0 and have 128mb installed in the lower ram slot.
To my surprise it does seem to work!!! It boots fine and the correct amount of ram shows in the system information screen under the apple menu. All I have tried at this point is simple browsing. Does anyone have any suggestions of something that will tax the memory and "ensure" that the ram is stable and should continue to work?
