I, too have the original puck (back attya from B.C.) with my clamshell iBook purchased in '99. I had sparking at the plug end, so the fix was relatively simple. I wind/unwind it 5 days a week so I can use it at work. However, I'm careful not to put too much tension on it as I wind it up. Can anyone recommend a good third party replacement for this thing when it goes south? Terry McCune R.R. 1, Black Point Rd. Powell River B.C.
