The only advantage is you will have less tax to pay on your bank 
accounts.
I just replaced an AirPort BS and a Linksys Router(paid $425 total) 
with a Netgear MR314 ($60 after rebate) Better reception with my 
TiBook. Setup may be more difficult, but it is via browser and the 
router supports AppleTalk. Netgear supports Macs, so there is tech 
support.
