Well, in defense of Linksys (at least Linksys in Singapore), I have to say that their technical support staff has been quite accomodating when I encountered a firmware problem (they were told I am a Mac user). The setup process for Linksys wireless routers (I have the BEFW11S4) is supposed to be one of the simplest around apart from Airport. There is also a piece of software called MacTFTP Client by MacTechnologies that will enable you to upgrade the firmware easily whenever there are updates. So, it's not all bad.
