Depends on how you label it - some of the first PowerBook G3 Series with
the 750 chip are supposed to have been 250 MHz, which could be the one
John has. The PDQ's were also termed by some the Revision 2 Wallstreets.
The Wallstreet ("I") came in versions with a 740 chip (which was 233
MHz), and also in the 750 chip running at 250 or 292 MHz.

True.
>The G3/233 and G3/292 Wallstreets were released in May of 1998.
Announced in March 1998 and became available in May 1998
The Wallstreet(s) was/were Apple's (first?) Build-To-Order PowerBooks, so
I would expect a wide variety of possible configurations (12/13.3/14.1"
LCDs, floppy/opt.Zip drives, and 2GB IDE hard drive, among other things)
>The G3/266 and G3/300's were called PDQ's. They were released in September

True - but the PDQ's came in varieties of 233, 266 and 300 MHz, but no
250's, so I doubt this could be the one John's describing.
For a great site to check which model you have, check Glen Sanford's site:
http://www.apple-history.com/
or here's a page with worldwide mirrors for better throughput:
http://www.apple-history.com/mirrors.html
The neat thing is that you can download an HTML version of it onto your
drive and check out info offline on your own Mac or even Wintel (or in
text form, on your Newton or eMate)!
If you want to download the HTML .hqx file, it's about 3 MB in size.
I don't work for Glen, just love having this reference tool on my
PowerBook... :-)
