What's the best way to completely wipe just the free space on your hard
disk?

I have PGP 7.0 but it's Free Space Wiper tells me that it can't wipe the
free space because the volume integrity check failed and that the volume may
be damaged. Disk First Aid doesn't however discover anything amiss.

Aladdin has something called Secure Delete. Can anybody relate your
experience with this software?

This would probably take far too much time to do it regularly, but for the
sake of curiosity or just in case of emergency, I'm wondering if cramming
the HD to the brim with zillions of copies of stuff you don't mind somebody
exhuming later, and then deleting it all, would do the trick. Any thoughts?
