This is why I am going to do the following to my G4/500 20GB: 1st partition 3GB MacOS 9.2.2 (install first after partitioning the drive) 2nd partition 7GB MacOS X 10.2 3rd partion (remaining?9.GB) for data This way I can select OS at bootup using the Option key and safely install/reinstall without affecting the other OS. I am not very keen on Classic. If I have to run anything "old" I'd rather boot into MacOS 9 properly. I'd like to ad that I have yet to get into MacOS X in a real sence so I may be saying something else in a few weeks...
