I know this was discussed again just about a week ago, but I need some review information. My CD drive in my Pismo 400 is not reading CD roms at this time. It will read and play a DVD however. I was trying to run some diagnostic tests via a 3rd party disk utility when I discovered the problem. It will not even mount the Jaguar CD. I am running 10.2.2. It will not mount CD's on OS 9 either. I do have a year left on my AppleCare and what I need to know is what I should ask for when sending it in. I have heard that some people get the same potentially defective LG module as the replacement. I would prefer not to get this, is that an option I can ask for? Also do they give it a once over and check and repair other problems too? Basically this book has been trouble free since it was new, but now I do have an intermittent sleep problem which I was trying to diagnose when I realized the CD was funky. Naturally I will tell them this too. Thanks for any help. Greg
