I would not recommend a "portable CD-RW" for your Wallstreet. I went that route over 2 years ago and I was sorry I did. The one that VST made/makes is very poor burning speed and virtually unusable with USB connection (i.e., you'll make a lot of coasters). The FireWire connection for the drive which I purchased separately later was not too much better, though less coasters were made - but the burning speed connected to the Firewire CardBus was never more than 4X. Since then I've learned that bigger is better and I don't need to burn CDs on the road, only at home - so I have an external stand-alone FireWire LaCie CD/CD-RW burner that burns at speeds like 16x and 24x. And no more coasters!! There are still lots of places to get the expansion bay Zip drive for the Wallstreet (both new and used); check www.powerbookguy.com and other Mac resellers on the internet. --bj Like jazz?
