My limited experience in all three OSes (9, Aqua & Jaguar) have led me
with this fact:

OS 9: no problems - fully hot-swappable with absolutely no problem with
ejection
OS 10.1.5-10.1.5: again, no problems (same as above)
OS 10.2.2 & 10.2.3: no problems upon insertion, however the system has
been known to hang upon ejection of the card from the both upper and
lower slots. As of yet, I do not know what causes this to occur, but I
would sure like a fix soon from Apple. Every single time I eject, it
hangs, even if I'm shutting down my Wallstreet, it will cause operation
to cease. The specs of my card as as follows:

IOGEAR CardBus USB 2.0 Card (dual slots), model number GPU202

This card was purchased through TigerDirect.com. I would recommend
them to anyone, especially Mac users. A great deal of their equipment
is functional for both Apple and PeeCee users.

I hope my 2 cents helps out here.
