Yes

I have had two batteries for some time now, but have never had the need
to use both under OS X. When I use both of them, the indicator shows
up as one combined battery.

I upgraded the processor on my Wallstreet from 233 to 300 MHz, and
noticed a significant speed increase. I would skip the 266MHz upgrade
(tried that also, and the speed increase wasn't significant) and go
straight for 300 MHz. If you are patient, you might get lucky and get
a 300MHz processor for less than half your quoted price (like I did).
