I'm interested because the main reason I bought the Pismo is to do fanless audio recording, and although I really don't want to pay 2 or 3 times the going rate for RAM, I do want to do what I can to keep the fan from coming on. But I assume the 'low power' refers more to battery drain than heat generated. Stephen
