You can get SCSI PC cards, or a Firewire to SCSI convertor. I was going over to MCE to look at some upgrades when I got your email, so I decided to see what they have. They have an Ultra SCSI PC card (10 or 20 MB/s) and an Ultra Wide SCSI PC card (40 MB/s). They cost $129 and $259 respectively. I checked OWC also but they didn't have anything. > Thanks much for any ideas on this. So the best thing to do is to prop the laptop up on something. You could get one of those fancy Lapvantage Domes or a Griffin iCurve, or you could go with a simpler Podium CoolPad or something like that. If you want to go super cheap, you could always just get a couple of books of the same thickness and prop it up on either side with those, and then use an external keyboard and mouse. The trick is to let air circulate underneath so the heat in the laptop can dissipate. Air can hold a lot more heat than wood or particleboard or whatever your desk is made of. -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
