The anecdotal reports I've read indicate that the superdrive works just 
fine in the older TiBook cases, however purchasing said Superdrive is 
the rub I  would think, it may be possible to buy one from apple if you 
absolutely have to have it, but I think it would be prohibitively 
expensive.
