Well, with a mere 192 meg of ram under 9.2.2, you might be able to run more than a couple of programs at a time. :-) What you can do, is turn on VM but only 1 meg over the 192 megs, namely 193. This turns on the memory mapping features, so that the system and apps consume less memory. It will be a bit faster than turning on a lot of VM, and will give you the possibility of running more applications.
