Brian, Not sure that it relates to your problem, but after searching the Apple Discussion Board, in the Mac OS X section, I've found a few Travelstar related posts, one of them explaining the failure to mount of his FW enclosure that has a Travelstar drive. From what I could read, it seems that the drive was trying to pull too much power from the bus, resulting in intermittent problems. That would happen only on the Pismo. He said that when using his enclosure with a tower, it would work flawlessly. The user continued by saying that when he powered the enclosure externally, the drive would always work as expected. Here is the URL to that message: <http://discussions.info.apple.com/WebX?[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.3bbd385c/49> It's the second message from the list, the longest one. -Laurent. -- =========================================================================== Laurent Daudelin Developer, Multifamily, ESO, Fannie Mae mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Washington, DC, USA ************************* Usual disclaimers apply ************************* -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
