Laurent, by now you've probably found the answer to your question, but 
for others and for future reference . . .

Ooops, my bad! Disregard my previous post, at least the part about _all_ 
PowerBooks taking a 12.5mm drive. (It's 12.7mm, actually)

I just poked around in the devnote for the G4 PB 867/1ghz:

and find that it will accept a max drive height of 9.5mm. I'm sorry to 
see I'm just a tad out of date. Well, I _do_ know the Pismo can accept a 
12.7mm drive, as will the other G4 PBs _before_ the 867/1ghz model.

_No_ iBook can accept a drive thicker than 9.5mm, and neither can the 
867/1ghz G4 PB.

before making such mistakes as mine above!):
