Laurent, by now you've probably found the answer to your question, but for others and for future reference . . . I wrote: > Every Apple portable labeled "PowerBook" can accept a drive > at least 12.5mm thick (such older PBs as the 5300 can accept 17mm drives.) Ooops, my bad! Disregard my previous post, at least the part about _all_ PowerBooks taking a 12.5mm drive. (It's 12.7mm, actually) I just poked around in the devnote for the G4 PB 867/1ghz: <http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/hardware/Developer_Notes/Macintosh_CPU s-G4/PowerBook_G4/1Introduction/New_Features2.html> and find that it will accept a max drive height of 9.5mm. I'm sorry to see I'm just a tad out of date. Well, I _do_ know the Pismo can accept a 12.7mm drive, as will the other G4 PBs _before_ the 867/1ghz model. _No_ iBook can accept a drive thicker than 9.5mm, and neither can the 867/1ghz G4 PB.
