Hello, This is a long shot, but using the Laserwriter 8 driver to print to an IP computer has turned out to be a necessity. Finding a PPD file somewhere, I put it in the Laserwriter 8's ppd folder. Selecting it in the Desktop Printer Create process, it seems to be fine. But, the job goes to the printer, and it (the HP 940c Deskjet) just spits out paper. I take this as a good sign because that's what the CUPS application in OSX did before I found the right hp model driver. But those open source files are complete *drivers*, not just PPDs. So, the question is has anyone been extremely creative with PPDs and Laserwriter 8 Chooser driver? Or, has anyone setup IP printing with Birmy Powerrip or Stylescript?
